SWRemote Mobile Technician Version 1.0.1.49 - Released  8/03/2010

SWRemote is releasing this version (1.0.1.49) on the evening of Tuesday 8/03/2010.  If you are a member of the Beta group, you have already received the update

Introduction
This document contains the release notes for the SWRemote Mobile Technician software version 1.0.1.49
New Features
  1. Credit card security measures
    1. We now are clearing the credit card number in the log searches in the SRS Admin site.
    2. We have included a new way to embed the encryption key for Mobile Technician, and are no longer passing this key via the web service.
  2. Equipment Added to Warranty Grid Description
    1. The location equipment type, mode number, and serial number have been added to the warranty grid. This will make it easier to determine which warranty corresponds to a location unit.
  3. Requisition Fix
    1. Application will now remove all items previously requisitioned items for an invoice, and only submit detail items for that assignment. This will prevent continued calls from duplicating the requisitioned items from previous assignments.
Bug Fixes
  1. Parts Used Screen Fixes
    1. Removed serialized detail items from Invoice Detail could now be added back with same serial number (Before, if serial #123 was removed, it could not be added back to detail)
    2. The review panel now displays the quantity as a decimal if necessary
    3. An Item's description is now displayed when item is selected from the review panel.
    4. Messaging will be displayed if there is a serialized detail item with no serial number. This information needs to be required, or a requisition cannot be sent. The message indicates which item for which task/visit needs a serial number.
    5. The Serial Number panel for serialized items now contains a Scan button to allow the PP55 scanner to read in a serial number.
  2. UpdateJobSummary
    1. When some of these fail while offline, they try to synchronize in the background and never succeed. These are now removed from the application after a period of time on the device (3 days).
  3. Callback Job Number
    1. Assignments that previous had a call back job number with a non-numeric character are now allowed.
  4. Over Payment
    1. No longer possible to accept any payment amount above or below $0.00 if the invoice total is $0.00
  5. New Messaging
    1. When device is registered while phone does not have a connection to your SuccessWare21, a message is now displayed.
    2. When offline login fails, we display a message indicating this.
  6. Tax Code Fix
    1. In rare occasions, an error occurred when trying to load a location's tax code that no longer exists on the device. This would occur if a location was associated with an old tax code.
  7. Device Description
    1. The device's name will be displayed on a label next to the Version # on the Login screen (need to minimize pop up keyboard to view)
  8. Force Reconnection
    1. When the update button is clicked to retrieve assignment information the device will attempt to reconnect if there is no current connection. Previously the device attempted to reconnect every 60 seconds. This will also force the synchronization of any data that needs to be sent to SuccessWare21.
  9. Main Menu Logo
    1. The logo on the main menu will no longer disappear when offline.
  10. Schedule Search Changes
    1. The jobs are now ordered by scheduled date in SW21.
    2. We fixed the date on initial load of the screen. This would previously save as the last date that was used in the search until you exit the screen.
  11. Add Invoice Validation
    1. We updated the validation to not allow multiple decimals from being submitted.
  12. New DPP-350 software
    1. We updated the software to allow the DPP-350 Bluetooth printer to work with more current devices such as the HTC Touch Pro 2.
